The Prince Edward Island Beer Festival takes place September 21st & 22nd, 2018 at the Delta Prince Edward Hotel. Part of the Fall Flavours Festival, this event is focused on educating visitors and Islanders alike on the art and craft of brewing and tasting beer. The festival always features a great variety of beers, live entertainment and great vibes. The city comes alive after the festival ends each night with live entertainment featured across the city at various venues!
Great beer. Great entertainment. 2 things that always go down smooth, especially together. Entertainment provided by local and regional players will be the highlight during the tasting sessions while various styles and varieties of local and not-so-local beer will keep things interesting.
A: Starting things off easy, eh? The 2018 PEI Beer Fest is Friday, September 21st and Saturday, September 22nd, 2018. There’s an evening session on the Friday followed up by an afternoon session and evening session on the Saturday.
A: Your ticket gets you entrance to the event & all the beer samples you need inside. There are no sample tickets or payment for any beers needed once inside – what a deal!
A: First off, props to you for being responsible. Secondly – you get access to the event as well as access to the DD Lounge – comfy seats and complimentary refreshments!
A: You might be able to! Though they’ll be a bit more expensive than the advance tickets and the sessions have been known to sell out in advance. Make up your mind, already!
A: You bet! The Delta is providing a number of options for food, and an oyster shucker will be on site. Food options are cash only – there is an ATM just outside the doors to the festival.
A: Yes, and so are you. Keep reading.
A: Parking is not included, but it’s free to park anywhere downtown on the weekend. Delta does have some underground parking available but space will be limited as this is a busy event! We recommend taking a cab downtown anyways – that’s the responsible thing to do!
A: You just haven’t found the right beer yet! But yes, there are a number of gluten-free and cider options available as well. Good times for all!
A: No underagers, please! This is a 19+ only event – keep the kids at home!
